‘List is endless’ – Sky Sports pundit makes Leeds claim on Player of the Season award
Jermaine Beckford has claimed that any member of the Leeds United squad has a strong case to win the player of the season award after promotion to the Premier League.
The Sky Sports pundit named the likes of Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison for their shining starts after winning the Championship.
Marcelo Bielsa has been using a squad made up of the players that he earned promotion with and they have made the step up perfectly.

Speaking on the Leeds United Show on YouTube, Beckford joined the likes of Emma Jones to shower praise on the Whites squad.
“Meslier, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford,” he said.
“Literally, you could put all the names in a hat, swirl them around and pick any one, two or three of them, because whichever names you pick out they have a strong case for being one of the best players, the standout players of the season.
“Harrison has been fantastic on the left-wing, Raphinha, who has been brilliant on the right-wing. Literally, the list is endless.”

Beckford is spot on.
There will be a clear shortlist in our opinion, and that will mainly include Bamford, Phillips and Ayling, who have all been outstanding.
Bamford was written off before the season even started, but he has proven everyone wrong, already reaching 10 goals – something that has only been done quicker by Mark Viduka and Tony Yeboah at Elland Road.
Phillips has established his England spot and has shown that he can cut it against the very best in the Premier League.
Pablo Hernandez has won it for three seasons in-a-row now, and one guarantee is that will change this season, the only unknown is who will get their hands on it?
