Leeds United relegation verdict shared as ‘worst in the Premier League’ statistic revealed
Leeds United have conceded from 14% of the attempts they have faced in the current Premier League campaign.
It is the worst such figure in the competition, as the Whites remain heavily involved in a relegation battle with Illan Meslier recently losing his spot to Joel Robles.
Sam Allardyce’s men currently sit 18th in the table, a point from safety with two matches remaining in the Premier League with the race hotting up.

“Leeds have conceded a goal from 14% of the attempts they have faced this season, the worst in the Premier League,” according to Gracenote, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“Brentford are now the best, allowing a goal from 8% of attempts faced.”

Extremely tight at the bottom
It really couldn’t be tighter at the bottom end of the Premier League table, with Leeds, Everton, Leicester City and Nottingham Forest all seemingly in real danger of avoiding the drop.
But such is the competitive nature at the bottom, 15th-placed West Ham are still not mathematically safe from the drop.
It’s been a fascinating run-in for the neutral, but for the clubs involved, it’s been a constantly painful experience.
Given their points tally of 34, Forest look the most likely of staying up, with Everton (32), Leeds (31) and Leicester (30) therefore likely to battle it out for safety.
It means the Premier League is certain to lose an iconic club regardless of who goes down, with fans of those clubs arguing that they should never be finding themselves in such a position.
The Whites will look to take one massive leap towards safety when they come up against West Ham on Sunday (21 May), with Allardyce not wanting to go into the final day against Tottenham needing a win as well as favourable results from other matches.
In other Leeds United news, Ian Wright believes Big Sam needs to unleash one Whites player to avoid Premier League relegation.
