Leeds United quip made by international coach after what happened on Tuesday
Wales C boss Mark Jones has joked about the potential addition of Cyrmu Premier ace Sion Bradley to an “all-Welsh” Leeds United squad.
The 26-year-old was in the spotlight on Tuesday 19 March as the forward scored the only goal in a 1-0 win for Wales C over England C at Stebonheath Park.
With seven goals and seven assists in 28 Cyrmu Premier appearances, Bradley has earned his debut for Wales C, having been left on the bench for last year’s fixture.
Speaking via Sgorio on Tuesday (19 March), Jones – who is a Leeds fan – spoke about the potential for the striker to move away from the Welsh leagues: “The whole of Wales know that he has that in his locker. He said that not coming on in the game last year is what drove him on – what an attitude.
“Someone upset him last year, I did, because I didn’t bring him on. And what’s he done tonight? Magical. There are enough superstars at Leeds United. Do they want another?”
Wales contingent continue to shine for Leeds United
Considering Leeds’ spectacular season so far, the Welsh contingent at Elland Road can take a lot of the praise for their performances on the pitch.
Ethan Ampadu and Joe Rodon have created one of the most formidable centre-back partnerships in the Championship, with Dan James offering the attacking threat from the right flank, and Connor Roberts joining on loan from Burnley.
Of course, Daniel Farke must take most of the plaudits, using his previous experiences with Norwich City in the second tier to spur the Whites on, but the players at his disposal have been first-class.
With just eight games of the Championship season left for Leeds, they have the potential to overcome Leicester City and Ipswich Town to lift the league title against all odds.

Due to the Foxes clashing with Chelsea in the FA Cup, Leeds had the perfect opportunity to steal first place, taking all three points in a 2-0 win over Millwall on Sunday 17 March.
The pressure is well and truly on for Enzo Maresca’s men, with Farke’s side showing little sides of letting up in the run-in to the end of the season.
In other Leeds United news, Wilfried Gnonto will be fuming after an official announcement was made recently.
