Leeds release major statement, three new members added to board
Leeds United have released an exciting statement on Thursday evening.
The Whites have made some major changes to the board at Elland Road, with three news faces arriving alongside Andrea Radrizzani.
Peter Lowy, Massimo Marinelli and Sandro Mencucci will all take their places subject to Premier League clearance ahead of next season.
The statement has been released on to the official club website, with some of the best bits transcribed below for your reading.
“Leeds United has today revealed changes to its Board of Directors as the club looks ahead to a bright future,” they wrote.
“Massimo, Sandro and Peter join Leeds United Chairman Andrea Radrizzani, Vice Chairman Paraag Marathe and CEO Angus Kinnear, to complete the Board of Directors.”
Andre Tegner has left his current role on the Whites’ board.
The close ally of Radrizzani has been at Elland Road since 2017 and appears to have left with the well-wishes of the club in this statement.
This is very exciting news for the Whites, who are improving and increasing their board alongside the San Francisco 49ers as the club looks to become more successful.
Paraag Marathe has shared on Thursday that he wants Leeds to become one of the biggest clubs in the world, and it appears as though the plans are already in place.
Mencucci has 17 years of experience under his belt at Italian giants Fiorentina, and it appears as though Radrizzani is leaning on some of his close contacts from home.
That can only benefit the Whites, and we look forward to what they can deliver for us.
