Junior Firpo and Luis Sinisterra to return for Leeds United v Arsenal – Expert

Leeds United are set for a double boost ahead of their Premier League showdown against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon (16 October), according to Ben Dinnery.

Not only will Luis Sinisterra return to the squad after his suspension, but the injury expert has shared that Junior Firpo should also be available at Elland Road.

Firpo picked up a thigh issue after the 0-0 draw with Aston Villa, forcing him to miss the trip to Crystal Palace which unfortunately ended in defeat.

Sharing on the Premier Injuries website, Dinnery dropped the good news ahead of the table-toppers arriving at Elland Road this weekend.

Needed.

Leeds really missed the likes of Sinisterra in that second half against Crystal Palace.

The South American could have really grabbed the game by the scruff of the neck when it was there for the taking, with our attacking options looking limited off the bench.

As for Firpo, it really is now or never for him as he looks to prove himself as a real cemented spot in the starting line-up at Elland Road for the years to come.

Despite being our only left-back at the entire club it seems, he still has failed to nail down that spot and has lost it to Pascal Struijk while out injured yet again.

Jesse Marsch will be glad to have those options available to him, with the entire squad needed if we are going to get anything from an Arsenal side that has been re-born this season.

All eyes are on that starting XI, will it change again?
