Writing on his personal Twitter account on Sunday evening, Anderson shared the major update that all Leeds fans will love to hear.

“Marcelo Bielsa has agreed a new 12-month deal in principle with Leeds,” he wrote.

“An official announcement is expected this week.”

Incredible.

This is the perfect end to this season.

We thought Gaetano Berardi and Pablo Hernandez getting the perfect send-off was amazing, but this news has made it even better.

Bielsa has been the mastermind behind all of this success, and the next aim will be European football back in West Yorkshire the season after the next one.

We wouldn’t have been able to do it without El Loco, and we hope that Andrea Radrizzani has pulled out all of the stops to announce this one quickly.

This gives Bielsa a full summer and pre-season to plan ahead, which in turn hands Victor Orta months to bring in the players that the manager has demanded.

After three perfect years, that it going to turn into four, and Bielsa will be able to take charge of his squad in front of a full Elland Road yet again next season on the biggest stage.

Here we go.
