Injury expert: Leeds United could be without nine players for Premier League showdown v Brighton
Ben Dinnery has reported that Jesse Marsch could be without nine players for the crucial Leeds United showdown against Brighton on Sunday afternoon [14 May].
Sharing on his official website, the injury dropped the crushing news that Leeds could be severely handicapped going into what is looking like a must-win game.
Luke Ayling and Dan James are suspended, with Tyler Roberts, Adam Forshaw, Stuart Dallas, and Crysencio Summerville also ruled out for the season with injuries.

Add on to that the big injury doubts of Patrick Bamford, Jack Harrison and Raphinha and Leeds could be in big trouble with relegation on the line.
Bamford is said to only have a 25% chance of returning to the squad though, with Marsch hopeful he could return to team training at the end of this week.
Compare that to Raphinha, who has a 75% chance after suffering from cramp against Chelsea and being persuaded to leave the pitch in dismay.
Harrison’s injury looked much worst, and he only has a 50% chance of being able to feature against the Seagulls.

Done?
With each passing game, it looks as though hope is being sucked out of everyone at Elland Road.
Now with the potential of missing nine players, the majority of them key first-team men, Marsch will be hoping for a miracle that his squad can pick up three points this weekend.
What makes things worst is that the squad already looks as though they have no clue what they are doing in each system that the American attempts to play.
With all of these players potentially missing, it could lead to yet another system change to play more centrally given we may have no wingers available whatsoever.
Raphinha could play centrally if he can prove his fitness behind two of Rodrigo, Joe Gelhardt or Bamford if needed.
This would be a huge blow to be missing all of these players, and it would just be more proof that Andrea Radrizzani made a massive mistake by not investing in January.
Let’s hope this doesn’t come back to haunt us.
