Gnonto and Ramazani react to Red Bull update at Leeds as bucket-list item ticked off
Wilfried Gnonto and Largie Ramazani have spoken out after the latest Leeds United and Red Bull collaboration.
The Whites have had a partnership with the energy drink giants since the start of the Championship campaign.
This came after an agreement was reached with the 49ers to purchase a minority stake at Elland Road, while also becoming the front-of-shirt sponsor.
Although this sponsorship has been activated throughout the season, the latest development has certainly gone down well with Gnonto and Ramazani.

Gnonto and Ramazani react to Red Bull event at Elland Road
Although many fans were unhappy to see a red and yellow logo adorn their home kit, it is fair to say that any frustration has drifted away.
This has certainly been helped by promotion to the Premier League, which has been accompanied by a £12million injection from the £18.6bn-valued company.
This has been made possible by a hugely positive end to the season, ending with a Championship trophy lift after a win against Plymouth Argyle.
Position | Club | Goal difference | Points |
1. | Leeds United | +65 | 100 |
2. | Burnley | +53 | 100 |
It is this result that has allowed for the joys of a title parade, which in itself caused controversy surrounding Ethan Ampadu.
Regardless of this, exciting scenes have continued with Red Bull bringing an F1 car to Elland Road to race against star names in LS11.
This saw Gnonto, Ramazani and Isaac Schmidt ultimately fall to defeat against the speed of the 200+ mph vehicle.
Footage of this was shared via Red Bull on Instagram (4 June) with the Belgian reaching out to share his joy around the activity as he said: “Great experience! One of my bucket lists ticked off.”
This was added to be a tongue-in-cheek comment by Gnonto, who said: “Are you gonna show the one we won as well?”
Red Bull continue to activate Leeds United sponsor
In the modern era of football, making the most out of a sponsorship agreement has to be of paramount importance.
This will help not just Red Bull themselves but Leeds to create a positive relationship with fans in what is a hugely exciting spell for the LS11 club.
With Daniel Farke preparing to take his side into the top division, there is likely to be a number of top signings that will be useful for sponsors to make the most of.
These sorts of events obviously can’t take place on a regular basis, but in down time between the end of one season and the start of the next, it makes sense to do inavative activity to entise fans in.
