Daniel Farke to sign Leeds United contract in days after final details – Sky Sports

Daniel Farke is set to sign his contract to become the new manager of Leeds United within days, according to Sky Sports Germany.

The reliable outlet has reported on its website that the German will put pen to paper on his deal at Elland Road once the finer details have been sorted.

Farke is already said to have found an agreement to take over though, so this one should be finalised and announced very quickly.

Leeds and the 49ers Enterprises are said to be waiting on the official confirmation of their takeover before making anything public in regard to their new manager.

Patrick Vieira and Scott Parker were also said to have been interviewed at Elland Road, but it is Farke who has come out on top to take charge in West Yorkshire.

Done.

With the majority of the squad returning to Thorp Arch for pre-season on Sunday 2 July, it looks as though Leeds finally have their man in charge.

Despite the wait for the takeover to be confirmed, Leeds look to have drawn up a contract for Farke, so official confirmation of both cannot be far away.

The 49ers Enterprises and Paraag Marathe are known to be thorough in their appointment procedures so it is no surprise to see this one drag out, although the time to go is now.

With players set to leave and plenty set to come in too, the takeover and manager stuff needs to be put to bed so we can fully concentrate on the football.

The Championship season is nearly only one month away and with Farke set to be in the dugout for that first match against Cardiff, he will want players that suit his style.

We are finally getting there.
