Daniel Farke finally signs contract to become Leeds United manager
Daniel Farke has signed his contract to finally become the new manager of Leeds United, according to a report by 90min (4 July).
The Whites went through four different managers in the 2022/23 season as they were relegated to the Championship following three years in the Premier League, with Sam Allardyce leaving at the end of the season.
Farke has emerged as the top contender for the job and after several weeks of rumours, the German has now put pen to paper on a deal to make him the man tasked with taking the club back to the top flight.

“Former Norwich City manager Daniel Farke will return to the dugout in England after signing a contract at Leeds United,” they wrote.
Finally
It’s been a long time coming and arguably the most open secret in English football over the last week, but Farke is finally the Leeds manager.
Having won promotion to the Premier League twice before he is well-equipped for the task ahead, and has been the boss in the Bundesliga too meaning he has plenty of top-level experience.

Leeds have been waiting for a while to make the appointment and have finally decided to pull the trigger seemingly with the team set to return to pre-season training at Thorp Arch on Wednesday.
Now he will have the task of building a squad from whatever is remaining from last season’s horror show of a campaign, and whatever players he is able to bring in to the club to get us back to where we need to be.
The 49ers can’t be accused of rushing this appointment, so lets hope they have got it right. It’s time to get behind him and the team with the new season on the horizon.
In other Leeds news, Arne Slot is back to haunt the club after entering the race for this £10m ace.
