Angus Kinnear makes Leeds sponsorship claim, offers financial package comparison
Angus Kinnear has claimed that the new shirt sponsor at Leeds United will be worth more than 10 times the last deal with 32Red.
The Whites’ chief executive admitted that Leeds’ ability to showcase companies on a global scale will make this an exciting opportunity for anyone.
Leeds recently signed a new five-year deal with kit manufacturer Adidas, with the sponsors also set to change once the kit is released.
Kinnear also added that the Whites can now offer bigger secondary partnerships to companies after promotion to the Premier League.
“Our shirt sponsorship will probably increase by a multiple of 10 because of the global exposure we can give our shirt-front partner,” he told Leeds Live.
“We can also sell bigger secondary partnerships.”
Everything about Leeds’ finances are going in the right direction, and each of these dealings will only help that.
Kinnear made it clear that not only will it benefit Leeds, but it will also benefit the companies who are on or around the home and away strips next season.
Leeds Live journalist Beren Cross admitted that it definitely won’t be 32Red next season, and the financial package would have been even better if COVID-19 didn’t happen.
Phil Hay also admitted that the final touches were being put on the sponsorship deal, and after that is when we will get our first glance at the famous three stripes at Elland Road.
