49ers Enterprises have huge Leeds United appointments to make immediately – Sky Sports pundit
By Daniel Carter.
Leeds United and their new owners the 49ers Enterprises have “huge positions” to fill according to David Prutton, writing for the Yorkshire Evening Post.
The North American owners are set to take over full ownership of Leeds from Andrea Radrizzani after a deal was agreed to see the 49ers up their stake in the club from 44% to 100%.
But with the West Yorkshire club without a manager, with Sam Allardyce’s deal not extended following relegation from the Premier League or a director of football, Prutton believes decisions need to be made quickly.

Writing for the Yorkshire Evening Post, he said: “For the 49ers, it’s a case of getting people in charge first, getting people in positions of knowing who is doing what and who is leading the team.
“The in-tray or inbox of the people who will now own the club is big with key decisions to be made.
“It’s not little things, it’s huge positions that need to be filled and that need to be done sooner rather than later.”

Identity.
The last time Leeds escaped the Championship, they took it by storm with Marcelo Bielsa’s high energy and exhilarating style of play, which also then helped them succeed in the top flight.
But since the Argentine’s departure in February of last year, any such identity has slowly vanished with each passing appointment.
It’s impossible to compare the style of Bielsa and Allardyce and the new owners must ensure they don’t end up with another 16-year stay outside of the Premier League.
The list of clubs who have become trapped in the Championship is only growing, with England’s second-tier one of the most competitive divisions in the world and therefore Leeds could do with a manager who has earnt his stripes.
Daniel Farke has been a name linked with the vacant role having left Borussia Monchengladbach last week, and with two Championship titles under his belt with Norwich City, seems a sensible fit to bring Leeds back where they belong.
In other Leeds United news, official approval for the takeover could yet take most of the summer to arrive.
