Leeds United suffered a 3-0 loss to West Ham United this Sunday, but some moments from the game may have gone unnoticed.

Daniel Farke went to the London Stadium with the intention of winning, but that wasn’t to be the case with the loss as West Ham’s relegation was confirmed anyway.

Tottenham’s win over Everton made sure that the Hammers had no way of staying up, making the Whites’ defeat even more annoying.

Even so, Leeds have plenty of positives going into next season, and all eyes will be on Farke and the 49ers to discuss a controversial new contract now.

Some Leeds fans have been left frustrated with the result, as several moments went under the radar at the London Stadium.

Leeds fans taunt West Ham supporters

It wasn’t long ago that Leeds were battling with West Ham at the bottom of the table, with the Whites scrambling for points.

Fast forward a couple of fixtures, and Farke made sure there were no final-day nerves, so regardless of what the result was going to be in East London, the travelling Leeds supporters were going to have a blast.

BBC Sport pundit Garry Rose revealed a chant that was directed by the Whites fans at the home supporters in the early stages of the game

Rose wrote: “The West Ham fans near to me all stood up to chant just now, which prompted the Leeds supporters to cheekily start chanting “stand up, if you are going down”.

Leeds fans know what it’s like to be in final-day drama, and were able to.

Daniel Farke and Nuno Espirito Santo face controversy

Despite the result for the Hammers, manager Nuno Espirito Santo will face a controversial next few weeks regarding his future, regardless of whether he stays or goes.

The same can be said about Farke, as his side were easily beaten by the Hammers despite the German head coach’s admission of trying to win the game in E20.

There has been controversy around Farke’s recent comments regarding his future, as this performance seems to have unsettled large parts of the fanbase.

Some are suggesting that he should go if he thinks he’s above the Whites, while others would be happy to see the former Norwich City boss stay.

Crysencio Summerville: Leeds reception and West Ham future

Many were interested to see if Crysencio Summerville could be West Ham’s saviour against his former side, Leeds, but he was anything but that over the course of the season.

Despite a purple patch in the winter for Nuno’s side, the Dutchman has since come off the boil after returning from injury and is officially a Championship player once more.

The winger left Elland Road to become a Premier League player when Leeds were struggling in the second tier, and the travelling Whites fans made it clear that they didn’t forget that.

Summerville was jeered by the travelling supporters every time he touched the ball, but nothing less was expected.

He is poised to leave the Irons this summer, with his price tag said to be valued at around £35million.
