Leeds United fans have been reacting on Twitter after LeedsLive asked whether Mateusz Klich was worth the £1.5million the Whites paid for him in 2017.
Klich, 30, joined Leeds as one of the first signings of Andrea Radrizzani’s ownership of the Yorkshire club but his first season at Elland Road saw him barely used and eventually shipped out on loan to Utrecht.
Marcelo Bielsa’s arrival at Leeds then saw Klich undergo a huge transformation as he changed from a player who looked as though he could be sold to one of the most vital first-team members.
Klich was key in Leeds’ successful promotion bid from the Championship and has continued to impress week by week in the Premier League.
A section of Leeds fans have now started to discuss how much the Poland international would be worth now compared to what Victor Orta signed him for in 2017.
With two goals and three assists in his first 10 Premier League appearances, some fans have suggested the ex-Twente man might be worth a staggering £50million.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
I think we underpaid by about 8.5 million

To think, how this team from 2018 might have been regarded by other coaches, ones who would have regarded Klich as a liability, rather than for all the possibilities Bielsa could see. Amazing.

Absolute robot for us. Plays every game. Was probably worth £1.5m when we got him. Thanks to his hard work and Bielsa's vision, now 20x that.

Klich has been tremendous at the heart of Leeds’ midfield this season.
According to stats by WyScout, Klich ranks joint-sixth in the Premier League with Mohamed Salah for the number of key passes made this season [9].
He also ranks joint-14th in the Premier League for deep-completions [15], which is essentially a successful pass into the penalty area from outside the box, and ranks joint-16th for the number of passes made [573].
Leeds definitely got a bargain when they signed the Poland ace three and a half years ago.
There’s absolutely no doubt about it now he’s mixing it with the best in the Premier League.
