Many Leeds United fans have reacted to Newcastle United’s latest result ahead of the Whites’ trip to St James’ Park next week.
The Magpies lost 2-0 at Villa Park on Saturday night as the Villains didn’t really have to get out of second gear to dispose of Steve Bruce’s side.
Leeds are winless and goalless in 2021 and with the Whites travelling to Tyneside for their next league game, it may be thought that a first win of the year is on the cards.
Newcastle were dreadful once again against Aston Villa as they lost 2-0 without really putting up a fight.
This makes it five losses in a row for Newcastle with the club’s last win coming on December 12.
Bruce’s side have been appalling in recent weeks with the Magpies barely threatening to score a goal never mind the prospect of them picking up a win.
The feeling among the Newcastle fan base is that the club are sleepwalking into a third relegation under widely hated owner Mike Ashley.
This sets the scene nicely for Tuesday’s Premier League game as the Whites look to end their own winless run.
Plenty of Leeds fans are saying the same thing as they back Newcastle to end their winless streak against Marcelo Bielsa’s side on Tuesday.
Some have said that a Magpies win is nailed on with Leeds proving to a be a ‘charitable organisation’ for winless clubs like Newcastle.
