Leeds United Super Fans react to Adam Forshaw's return

This is part of a regular series from our panel of Leeds United Super Fans. Each week, Super Fans from our Leeds Insider Facebook page will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around Elland Road.

A lot of Leeds United Super Fans have replied to a post from Leeds Insider’s Facebook page about Adam Forshaw’s return to the first team.

Beren Cross reported in a live Q&A session on Leeds Live’s website that he had been told that the 29-year-old was back training with the first team.

The central midfielder has had an awful time with injuries and hasn’t played for Leeds since September 2019, which is an incredibly long time to be out for.

However, it appears as if Forshaw might finally be over his injury nightmare, and that is great to see.

Though many of these Super Fans think that Forshaw will break down again, and some believe that he should be moved on.

Some of these comments seem slightly harsh, while others express genuine concern for Forshaw.

After being out for so long, it seems plausible that the 29-year-old might suffer from injuries again, and it will be interesting to see if he can make it through Marcelo Bielsa’s intense pre-season regime unscathed.

If he can, you would think he has a chance of being involved for Leeds at some point this season.

However, if not and he breaks down again, we fear for his future not only at Elland Road but for any other club he might play for in the future as well.

Hopefully, Forshaw is over these injury problems as the last thing he needs is more injury trouble, but we totally understand why some of these Super Fans believe that he will break down again.

Therefore, it is up to Forshaw to prove everyone wrong and come back better than ever.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites have sealed a deal for a central midfielder.
