Leeds United made the decision to call Robbie Gotts back from Lincoln City last week after his loan spell.

The Whites have since sent the midfielder to Salford City, making it a rollercoaster week for the talented youngster.

It has been the perfect month, after scoring his first professional goal for Lincoln, he has started twice for Salford and doubled that goal total.

Gotts made his home debut for Salford against local side Harrogate on Friday night.

The 21-year-old fired home his first goal for the club, as the Manchester-based side went on to pick up a solid point in a 2-2 draw.

This will prove to be a great move for Gotts, with Marcelo Bielsa admitting he is a big admirer of the midfielder.

El Loco has previously shared that he felt regret over the lack of chances available at Elland Road for the Salford loanee, something he is now getting with the League Two side.

It appears as though he is eager to prove himself, and long may this success continue between now and the end of the season.

Many Leeds fans have reacted to the performance of Gotts, celebrating his success as they pay close attention to his progression.

The majority have claimed that Salford are lucky to have him and that he was guaranteed to win the Man of the Match award.
