Leeds United fans have been revelling in Chelsea’s latest defeat to Leicester as it increases pressure on an old enemy, Frank Lampard.
The Blues boss has had his fair share of run-ins with Leeds supporters since he became a manager, and that means there is little sympathy for him in West Yorkshire.
Lampard is experiencing a dreadful run of form, taking just four points from his last five league games and his team have scored just four goals in the process.
Marcelo Bielsa has outperformed him over that period yet has come under fire from some sections of the media, which some supporters feel is unfair.
Accusations have been made against Lampard arguing he is a media favourite when in reality he isn’t good enough to sit in the Chelsea dugout.
The defeat against the Foxes on Tuesday sparked a joyous outburst of mockery and criticism amongst some of the Leeds faithful.
A number of fans are keen to see him sacked but others are happy for the former England player to stay, and for the negative results to continue.
The Whites host Chelsea at Elland Road in March and it will be interesting to see if Lampard remains in the job by then.
If so he will be relieved that supporters will likely not be there to greet him – judging from the comments below it would likely be a hostile reception.
Lampard the perfect man to lead Chelsea🤣🤣🤣

The Lampard burn out is real. @talkSPORT @SkySportsPL Don't say it too loud, we don't want to upset the pundits golden boy.

Stuck between enjoying the satisfaction of Lampard getting the sack or wanting him to ruin Chelsea for longer.

Chelsea were top when they beat us. Now 9 points off it. It’s a joke how the media don’t publicly slate Lampard cos he’s English. But because bielsa guided a mid table to 12th he’s in the wrong #lufc

Whenever Leeds lose some lazy pundit comes out and calls Bielsa a myth or even suggest he resigns. Chelsea are 2-0 down and Martin Tyler doesn’t think Lampard can be held responsible for what decisions his players make on the pitch. Why have managers? Media darling fraud

So it's the players now and not the manager 😂😂. Different when it comes to leeds and bielsa. Lampard is doing awful with the money he has spent. Got his dream job and been found out

In other Leeds United news, Dominic Matteo believes Bielsa is set to hand a player his full debut next week.
