After a number of positive performances for Germany, Leeds United defender Robin Koch didn’t end the international break well.
After back-to-back wins over the Czech Republic and Ukraine, Koch was handed the chance to start against Spain in the Nations League.
It ended horrifically, with the Germans losing 6-0 and being embarrassed – not a confidence boost for the Whites enforcer.
That makes Koch’s defensive record in the past two weeks dreadful.
After conceding four goals against both Leicester and Crystal Palace, he looked to have turned a corner, but this is another shocker.
The 24-year-old was booked in the first half, and it didn’t get much better from there, conceding four more goals after that happened.
With Diego Llorente closing in on full fitness, Koch could soon be looking over his shoulder with his place under threat at Elland Road.
The Spaniard wasn’t involved in this clash obviously, but he could be back very soon and he will be confident of cementing a spot in defence.
Marcelo Bielsa will have been watching closely, and El Loco won’t have been best pleased with what he saw in Seville.
Many fans have reacted to the performance of Koch, claiming that he may be one of the worst defenders in the Premier League at this moment in time.
That clearly isn’t true, but some Leeds fans have also reacted and have started to worry given that it is a familiar trend of conceding goals.
MOT Leeds News have picked out some of the reactions below…

Lads I’m watching a 0/10 performance by Robin Koch for Germany right now, he’s been woeful. Not encouraging. #lufc
