Robin Koch offered Leeds United fans a little peek into his injury rehabilitation on Wednesday, sparking excitement amongst the fanbase.

The centre-back has been sidelined since early December with a knee injury and he is not expected to return until March.

However, he’s on the road to recovery and Leeds fans are delighted.

Robin Koch is just one of the big-money centre-backs that Leeds signed in the summer.

Diego Llorente has been seen even less than Koch but he’s fit again now and put in a brilliant shift for the under-23s this week.

The two players haven’t played together because of the injury issues but fans can’t wait to see them forge a new partnership at the back.

That would see Liam Cooper miss out but having all three senior centre-backs available would be a huge boost for the club.

There is still plenty of time until Koch’s possible return, but that will give Llorente time to get up and running and prove he is worth his £18million price tag.

If he does as well as we think he can, it will give Bielsa a real conundrum when Koch returns. Koch has impressed in his 11 league appearances so far with two interceptions and 1.6 tackles per game (WhoScored).

Here is what Leeds fans have been saying about the possible partnership of Koch and Llorente.

In other Leeds United news, Graham Smyth claims a big-money player won’t be ‘satisfied’ at Elland Road.
