Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Mateusz Klich for his performance in their dramatic win over Fulham on Saturday.

The Whites were again involved in a thriller at Elland Road, beating Scott Parker’s men 4-3 in an end-to-end contest that closely mirrored the cut and thrust of last weekend’s clash against Liverpool.

But it was Klich who really caught they eye amid the chaos.

The Poland international scored one and assisted another for his side, and this was a brilliant illustration of the kind of all-action display that is sure to make him a success in the top flight.

Granted, his own strike came from the penalty spot, but it was his pass for Patrick Bamford’s effort which really hammered home his class.

Afforded acres of space, Klich pivoted on the ball superbly before getting his head up and dissecting the Fulham backline with a pinpoint pass.

From there, it’s one touch and finish from the centre-forward, but make no mistake, this all stemmed from Klich’s vision.

We saw a similarly solid display from him at Anfield last week when he had a pass completion rate of 84% – 1.7% higher than his career average – and all the early signs are that Klich has more than enough quality to be a real hit this season.

Of course, we’re not overly surprised, but it’s still wonderful to see him thriving in the big time.

In other Leeds United news, the Whites are in talks to sign this French midfielder.
