Victor Orta prodigy is at Leeds United already in Mateo Joseph amid revealing interview

Leeds United youngster Mateo Joseph is a highly talented player, but he could be a real asset for the club away from football as well.

The 19-year-old youngster made his debut in the Carabao Cup defeat against Wolves, and Jesse Marsch praised him later on Twitter.

Joseph, who can speak multiple languages, is showing attributes that will leave everyone stunned, and definitely, it will catch the attention of the likes of Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani.

In an interview with Marca, Joseph said that he is studying business management and watches a lot of videos of training sessions and games to see where he is doing well and can improve.

“I go to train in the morning, when I finish I do the things in the morning university, I’m studying business management and I also watch a lot of videos of training sessions and games to see what I’m doing well and improve,” said Joseph.

You generally don’t expect to see young talent being analytical of his game to this minute details, but it seems Joseph has this passion to learn more about the game.

Obviously, the first priority for him at the moment is to get regular games under Jesse Marsch and get into the senior team.

But at the same time, he is also showing early signs of being a true analyst. The business studies will help him learn more about the financial side of the game, and he could end up becoming a director of football, if he wants to pursue a parallel career.

Orta has done a phenomenal job at Leeds, and he is very good at what he does. It is a specialized role, and that’s why he has been in demand recently.

In Joseph, Leeds can have their next Orta, but the club will definitely want him to shine as a player for the first team in the long run.

In other Leeds United news, Phil Hay has revealed the whispers he’s heard at Elland Road about when the 49ers will complete their takeover.
