Tyler Adams may be ruled out for season as Leeds United injury news emerges

Leeds United have never had the best of luck with injuries, but somehow it could have gotten even worst this week at Elland Road, without them even playing.

Max Wober was forced off while playing for Austria with what looks like a hamstring blow, with Willy Gnonto then following suit with the Italian with an ankle sprain.

Somehow, that isn’t the worst news though with rumours now starting to float that Tyler Adams has undergone surgery on his own hamstring problem.

Reliable source, LUFC FANZONE has shared that there is a “strong possibility” of the American international being ruled out for the entire season.

The account which often breaks exclusive news has shared reports from America that surgery has been completed on the injury that was initially picked up in training.

Please, no.

This would be dreadful news.

Javi Gracia has only been at the club for one month and the injury news just continues to make his job harder as he goes to keep Leeds in the Premier League.

Things have turned sour so quickly too after the 4-2 win against Wolves sent the Whites all the way up to 14th with real hope that wins can continue and we can get out of this bother quickly.

With Wober and Gnonto now also carrying injuries that could keep them out, that is three of our most important players all potentially ruled out of a critical run of fixtures.

Arsenal are up next at the weekend, which may be a write-off, but with Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace to follow at Elland Road, those two games could decide our fate entirely.

If Adams is ruled out for the season, we have to hope that Weston McKennie and Marc Roca can continue to step up and fill that void as they did at Molineux.

This is potentially crushing news.

In other Leeds United, the Whites are now in pole position to seal their first signing under Javi Gracia despite interest from a Premier League rival.
