Predicted Leeds United starting XI v West Ham

Leeds United travel to West Ham United for their first of two meetings at the London Stadium this month on Sunday.

Marcelo Bielsa will be looking to improve his FA Cup record by knocking out our fellow Premier League side in the capital.

Both sides have many injury worries to deal with, with changes expected by both Bielsa and David Moyes ahead of the Premier League showdown the week after.

Illan Meslier will continue in goal, with the Frenchman never dropped unless it is a forced absence – unfortunately for Kristoffer Klaesson.

Cody Drameh will come in for Luke Ayling down the right-hand side, with the experienced mainstay handed a rest.

Junior Firpo and Robin Koch will both continue, as we look to continue their brilliant form of late and look for the consistency that has been missing all year.

Diego Llorente will also start, with the Spaniard now suspended for the Premier League clash at the London Stadium.

Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas will continue in midfield, mainly due to a lack of options in that area at this moment in time.

The changes will come in the final third, with all four places being changed.

Crysencio Summerville smashed home a hat-trick for the under-23s on Wednesday (5 January), and along with Dan James will be rewarded for their goalscoring antics of late.

Joe Gelhardt will play in the number 10 role, something which will delight Leeds fans up and down the country.

Patrick Bamford is also said to be available, and he will start his first game since September and hopefully start a real run of starts, putting this injury hell behind him.

Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…

Interestingly, there may be a place for Mateo Joseph Fernandez on the bench, and at the least a spot on the plane to London this weekend.
