Predicted Leeds United starting XI v Spurs
Leeds United finally return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon with a tough clash at Spurs.
Marcelo Bielsa will take on Antonio Conte in what promises to be a real battle between two of the best tacticians ever.
The Whites will have been hoping for numerous injury boosts during this international break after recent problems at Elland Road.
Illan Meslier will start in goal, and he will be hoping that an elusive clean-sheet is nearing after better performances in recent weeks.
Stuart Dallas will start at right-back keeping his spot, with Junior Firpo coming back in after teasing his return on Instagram.
Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente both tasted success with Scotland and Spain respectively this week and will continue their fine partnership.
Kalvin Phillips will anchor the midfield, with no questions surrounding him being one of the first two names on the team-sheet.
Ahead of the Yorkshire Pirlo will be Adam Forshaw, who has been given some great rest over the break and shined against Leicester to cement his spot.
Raphinha is the other name that is always first in the starting XI, with the Brazilian simply untouchable in West Yorkshire.
Rodrigo has also shined during the break after fighting his way back into the Spain squad and will look to continue his form at club level.
The other wide spot will go to either Jack Harrison or Dan James, with the Welshman most likely to earn that with his pace a real weapon on Spurs’ huge pitch.
Finishing the lineup will be Patrick Bamford after injury expert Ben Dinnery mooted a return from his problems for this game.
Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…
