Predicted Leeds United starting XI v Fulham in Premier League showdown

Leeds United welcome Fulham to Elland Road on Sunday 23rd October in the Premier League with Jesse Marsch desperate for a long-awaited win.

The Whites crashed to yet another embarrassing defeat on Thursday evening, falling to a 2-0 scoreline at Leicester City who were bottom at kick-off.

Some head-scratching changes were made by the American, and it is likely that he will do the same over the weekend as he potentially looks to save his job.

Illan Meslier will start in goal once again and he will have been disappointed that he had nothing to do on Thursday, but still pulled the ball out of his net twice.

Rasmus Kristensen and Robin Koch will keep their spots at the back, but there will be another couple of changes after the mind-boggling decision to start Diego Llorente.

Liam Cooper will start again and skipper the side, with Pascal Struijk taking his spot back off Junior Firpo after injury expert, Ben Dinnery suggested he will be available again.

Marc Roca endured a shocker in the opening 45 minutes last time out, but he will be determined to recover alongside Tyler Adams, with more needed in those midfield spaces.

As has been the case so far this season, Brenden Aaronson was the shining light again at Leicester and the American will be needed to create even more this weekend.

Luis Sinisterra will continue after the outrage that fans displayed when he was dragged off early at the King Power, with his direct running and goal threat desperately needed.

One final change will be Crysencio Summerville dropping out for Jack Harrison, with the Dutch sensation not yet ready to start Premier League games consistently – he has to prove himself more off the bench with goals and assists.

Patrick Bamford will admit himself that he was poor, but he simply has to start again as he looks to get back up to 100% for the Whites after his injury-ravaged last year.

Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…
