Predicted Leeds United starting XI v Brighton

Leeds United travel to Brighton on Saturday evening looking to return to winning ways in the Premier League.

Marcelo Bielsa had limited options available to him last time out but his weak squad put up a valiant effort in the 2-1 defeat at Spurs.

Phil Hay has shared the latest on the squad with Raphinha expected to be available after his short illness after the international break.

Illan Meslier is almost guaranteed to start every single week and will take his spot yet again on the south coast.

Stuart Dallas, Diego Llorente and Liam Cooper will keep their spots in the back four, but there will be one change.

Junior Firpo will come into the side after Pascal Struijk was visibly struggling with a rib problem for most of the game at Spurs.

Kalvin Phillips made the headlines with a head injury this week but is back in training and ready to feature yet again, thankfully.

Adam Forshaw has been shining in the Premier League since returning from injury and has given a real timely boost to the midfield.

This is where the changes come in.

Raphinha and Rodrigo should return, with the Spaniard’s foot problem described as “minor” before the Spurs game.

Dropping out will be Joe Gelhardt and Mateusz Klich, the first of those very unlucky not to keep his spot but is falling consequence to bigger names returning.

Jack Harrison will play on the left after shining once again at Spurs, and Dan James will move into the centre-forward role using his pace to cause problems in behind the Seagulls defence.

Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…
