MOT View: Kalvin Phillips starts - Predicted Leeds United starting XI v Crystal Palace

Leeds United finally return to Premier League action on Monday evening when they travel to Crystal Palace.

Jesse Marsch has had nearly two weeks of training with his squad at Thorp Arch and will have really got his methods across.

Patrick Bamford and Tyler Roberts are the only long-term injury worries now, with the rest of the squad likely available.

Illan Meslier will start in goal, and has had time to 100% recover from the blow he suffered at Wolves last month.

Luke Ayling will start on the right, with Stuart Dallas on the left despite Junior Firpo returning to training this week.

Liam Cooper has been a revelation since returning, and he will partner Diego Llorente once again at the back looking to build on their last clean sheet.

The news everyone has been waiting for, Kalvin Phillips will start in holding midfield, taking the place of Robin Koch.

Mateusz Klich will also drop out, with Adam Forshaw coming back in to get more defensive legs against the likes of Wilfried Zaha and Conor Gallagher.

Raphinha and Jack Harrison both scored at Watford, and there are no questions that they will start again at Selhurst Park.

Many will be calling for Joe Gelhardt to start, but Dan James has done enough to keep his spot in this side with his pressing ability a real weapon.

Finishing the lineup will be Rodrigo, who has no doubt been the standout man in recent weeks under Marsch.

Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…
