Leeds United fans might know the starting XI for the game against West Ham tonight (Meslier; Alioski, Ayling, Cooper, Dallas; Phillips, Harrison, Klich, Rodrigo, Raphinha; Bamford if you haven’t been keeping up) but they’ll be sweating something potentially bigger at 7pm tonight.

Pablo Hernandez is “healthy and available” for the Premier League game tonight, according to Marcelo Bielsa.

He hasn’t played since the alleged bust-up that followed the Spaniard getting subbed off against Leicester.

Bielsa has said that the talented playmaker has been out injured for the last three games.

However, his partner sent out a cryptic tweet the morning after the Chelsea game saying “Superhealthy” and including a football emoji in case the message wasn’t clear enough.

That hinted that all was not well behind the scenes and that Hernandez was not happy about being left out again.

It left Bielsa with no real options at his press conference and, as quoted by Phil Hay, said that Hernandez was “healthy and available” for the game against West Ham.

He’s not in the starting XI and maybe that’s not surprising given the length of time that he’s been out.

But he must be on the bench. That’s not just our view but the view of former Leeds and England star Paul Robinson.

He told MOT Leeds News that a “healthy” Hernandez – on a reported £23.5k/wk at Leeds – has to be included in the squad.

If he isn’t? It’s going to be time for some answers from Leeds, with the January window approaching.

We don’t want to believe that the fallout from the Leicester game has been so bad that there’s no way back for Hernandez.

He almost single-handedly got us over the promotion line at the end of last season.

But Bielsa knows his own mind and has the power to do what he wants when it comes to players at Leeds.

We think it’s D-Day for Leeds and Hernandez and we are desperate to see him in the matchday squad.
