Marcelo Bielsa will be delighted by new footage of Leeds United man Patrick Bamford
Leeds United released some footage on Tuesday evening that should please Marcelo Bielsa greatly.
The footage showed Patrick Bamford back out on the training pitch as he edges closer to making his return to the first team.
The 28-year-old hasn’t played since the game against Newcastle United in September, but he might be on the way back.
Judging by the footage, it appears as if he was only taking part in light training drills, but how good is it to see him back out there?
The Whites have managed to struggle along without him, but the quicker he is back, the better.
Last season, the England international scored 17 league goals and proved that he was a Premier League player, and hopefully, his return from injury will see the Whites shoot up the table.
It will be interesting to see what Bielsa says about Bamford in his pre-match press conference, but surely, he will be back in action soon?
Remember, the striker has been described as “exceptional” by Jurgen Klopp, so it will be great to see him back in the starting XI for the Whites in the near future [Metro].
There is no question that Leeds have missed Bamford not only for his goals but for the way he leads the line as well.
So, this footage should please fans, Bielsa, and anyone else connected with Leeds, and now we just have to wait and see if Bamford plays against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.
In other Leeds United news, Paul Robinson has had his say on Jack Harrison.
