Leeds predicted starting XI v Watford after injury news

Leeds United go into their Premier League clash with Watford on Saturday with a number of injury boosts.

Marcelo Bielsa confirmed that Raphinha will be fit to play after having to be replaced early yet again in the defeat against West Ham.

As well as that Diego Llorente is back into the fold with Pascal Struijk, easing our injury concerns at the back.

Illan Meslier will start in goal for the Whites, with the Frenchman being placed in the spotlight by Sky Sports this week.

Luke Ayling is out for the foreseeable future, handing Jamie Shackleton the perfect chance to keep his spot at right-back.

Pascal Struijk returns for selection, but Diego Llorente doing the same means the Dutch sensation will be left on the bench.

Liam Cooper will keep his spot and partner Llorente, with Junior Firpo also remaining in the side against the dangerman Ismailia Sarr.

Kalvin Phillips is poised to sign a new contract at Elland Road [John Percy] and he will celebrate that hopefully with three points starting in his role.

Ahead of him will be Mateusz Klich and Stuart Dallas, with no other senior options available to start in the midfield at this moment.

Raphinha is fit, and he will start with Jack Harrison on the opposite flank, who will get the nod over Dan James who will drop back to the bench.

Patrick Bamford being out is a blow, but Rodrigo showed some positive signs against West Ham and will look to continue that this Saturday.

Here’s how we expect the Whites to line up…
