Leeds United need injury-hit Rodrigo to play v Tottenham, ace among Premier League leaders in one key stat
Leeds United really are in a worrying position heading into the final day of the Premier League season.
The Whites currently sit 19th in the table on 31 points, two away from safety with just a home game against Tottenham remaining.
While they will be keeping an eye on the matches involving their relegation rivals Everton and Leicester City, Leeds really need to focus on the task at hand at Elland Road.
That will be a very difficult one, given both their inability to keep clean sheets and the real threat that Tottenham star Harry Kane poses.
It makes scoring goals that bit more important, but their hopes of coming alive in the final third have been dented by potential injuries to Patrick Bamford and Rodrigo.
According to Phil Hay (22 May), the former is very likely to be out of the Tottenham clash, but the latter could yet feature. That will be welcome news to Leeds fans, with Rodrigo seemingly the most capable Whites player of finding the back of the net.

Not only is he among the top finishers at the club, but also in the Premier League, with Rodrigo in the top 10 for players with the best minutes per goal record in the competition this season, as per WhoScored.
The Leeds ace currently sits eighth in the list with a record of 142.5 minutes per goal, behind the likes of superstars Erling Haaland and Harry Kane, but ahead of Ivan Toney, the league’s third top goalscorer.
Whoever gets the nod going forward under Sam Allardyce on Sunday (28 May), there will be huge pressure on their shoulders, but they will become a club legend if they are the one to find the goal that saves the club from relegation.
