Leeds United must sign Watford winger Ismaïla Sarr

Leeds United had a more than decent beginning to their season as they managed to gather four points out of the possible six from the first two matches.

The Whites entered the campaign hoping to improve from the way they were last time around where they clearly lacked squad depth in a number of positions.

One of the areas Leeds have been keen to strengthen is the attacking front where they’ve been linked with a number of players, including Watford’s winger Ismaïla Sarr, according to journalist Jacque Talbot.

According to the latest report by 90min, the player is expected to leave the Championship side before the end of the ongoing transfer window.

Sarr would’ve been one hell of a signing for Leeds if they manage to get the deal over the line considering what the player has shown ever since arriving in England.

He scored a worldie against West Brom in the recent fixture, once again showing what he can bring to the table, and has incredible pace to create a problem for any defensive side in the Premier League.

Therefore, with reports suggesting that he is expected to leave before the end of the window, manager Jesse Marsch must ensure that he will do all in his power to bring the player to Elland Road.

The 24-year-old has been a Watford player since the summer of 2019 when he moved from French club Stade Rennais for a reported transfer fee of £27 million.

Since then, he has represented his current club in 95 matches across all competitions where he has managed to score 25 times and provided 19 assists in the process [Transfermarkt].
