Leeds United must quickly move for Takumi Minamino after recent development

Leeds United are expected to see the departure of star winger Raphinha in the summer transfer window, with interest from the likes of Barcelona and Arsenal.

Jesse Marsch has already secured two signings this summer in Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen, both joining from Red Bull Salzburg, but even so their transfer window will be dependent on the future of star players like the Brazil international and Kalvin Phillips

The Whites been recently linked with Liverpool winger Takumi Minamino for £17million, according to TeamTalk [June 9].

However, as per the latest report of Football Insider, they’ve now fallen behind Wolves who are now leading the race to sign the 27-year-old in the ongoing transfer window.

Important move

Since moving to Anfield in 2019, the recently concluded season was the first time when Minamino managed to hit double figures in terms of goals scored, with 10 in all competitions. He was an important part of the side that won the FA Cup.

Minamino is a fantastic prospect and with the future of Raphinha uncertain amidst interest from a number of big clubs in England as well as from Europe, they must not let the opportunity go to sign the Anfield man.
