Leeds United move potentially hinted by Christian Pulisic, would be epic signing
Leeds United still have work to do in the transfer market and they could seal a sensational deal if they go all out to sign this international winger.
Chelsea ace Christian Pulisic is one of the players that Victor Orta is considering making an offer for, according to Dean Jones via Give Me Sport, with the United States captain not in Thomas Tuchel’s plans.
The 23-year-old already has plenty of international teammates at Elland Road with Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams both starting against the Blues on Sunday.
Newcastle United could rival Leeds United for Pulisic though as well as Callum Hudson-Odoi as Jones said, “Newcastle are very much in the market for those two players, but I know Leeds have been having a look, too.”
Pulisic may have dropped a hint at uniting with his USMNT compatriots though after he posted an image on his Instagram page of himself alongside the aforementioned Whites duo.
Aaronson was quick to reply to his American captain after he started Leeds’ rout at Elland Road by pressing Edouard Mendy into a mistake in the first half.
The post could always be just a recognition of his patriots but with the rumours circling over his future at Stamford Bridge and LS11 a potential destination, there may be more to it.
And if Orta is able to strike a deal with the Blues, whether it be a permanent or loan move, then Marsch would have a big upgrade on the wings that would take the side to another level.
Dan James has been alright for Leeds since his arrival from Manchester United but he has not been sensational as many were hoping him to be and Pulisic has a much more clinical edge while still possessing the same speed and agility of the Welshman.
