Leeds United can sign Jesus Vazquez for massive discount as Di Marzio shares £4.3m news
Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Valencia have set a £4.3million asking price for Leeds United target Jesus Vazquez – a price the Whites will find hard to ignore.
Leeds United are in desperate need of a new left-back, and 19-year-old Vazquez has emerged as a target for the Whites according to Radio Marca Valencia.
Junior Firpo has failed to live up to expectations since swapping Barcelona for Yorkshire in 2021 and Pascal Struijk won’t want to fill in at left-back forever.
Gazzetta Dello Sport reported back in early November that Vazquez’s contract at Valencia included a £34.9million release clause, but with the player upset over a lack of playing time the Spanish outfit has given buyers a huge discount.
As reported by Sky Sports Italy journalist Di Marzio, Valencia are asking for just £4.3million for Jesus Vazquez to leave in a permanent deal.
It’s an area that desperately needs addressing by Marsch in January so this may be an offer simply too good to turn down.

Vazquez arriving would not only strengthen the squad depth at Elland Road, but would allow Struijk to go back to his favoured centre-back position, and would allow the likes of Jack Harrison or Luis Sinisterra to enjoy more attacking freedom on the left knowing a natural left-back is behind them.
With such a huge discount being offered, it’d also allow Marsch to spend the remainder of his January budget on a much-needed striker. They are the two positions that are crying out for more depth and Marsch will want to fix that next month.
The Di Marzio report does also mention Torino as a possible buyer, so Leeds need to move quickly and wrap up Vazquez early on in the window to relieve one headache facing Marsch and the board.
