Leeds fans react to new goalkeeper kit

Leeds United launched their new 19/20 kit on Tuesday and fans have given it an overwhelming thumbs up.

The centenary kit sports a modified badge with a gold crest and platinum trim.

The text ‘Leeds United 1919-2019’ is embedded in the detail of the fabric on the back and any names/numbers printed on the shirt will be in platinum.

We like it a lot but it’s the blue goalkeeper kit that has created the biggest buzz among Leeds fans.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell tweeted, “What a kit this is” and the blue shirt, with yellow trim and dotted design at the bottom is a stunner.

One fan predicted it would be the best-selling goalkeeper kit “of all time” and others said they preferred it to the white home kit.

The big question is who’s going to get to wear it as the club’s number one?

Kiko Casilla must be the favourite but some fans are hoping that Peacock-Farrell modeling it is a hint that he’s going to get the gloves next season.

We should get a big clue tonight when Leeds play their first pre-season game against York City. In the meantime, here are some of the best reactions from fans:
