Leeds fans react to Harrison display v Man United
Leeds were beaten 4-0 in Perth by a rampant Man United side on Wednesday, but while it could have been more, Marcelo Bielsa’s men should have scored at least one goal.
Not converting chances was the story of last season and it’s something Bielsa needs to address before the first game of the Championship against Bristol City.
One of the biggest offenders against United was Jack Harrison and it’s a shame because he put in a really promising performance following his two-goal haul against York last week.
He looked especially sharp in the first half of the game, rinsing United’s £50m-man Aaron Wan-Biassaka on a couple of occasions, and was probably the best Leeds player for the first hour.
He lost his way a bit in the second half and looked leggy, and he blazed a wonderful chance over the bar when Leeds deserved better.
We’ve got high hopes for Harrison in his second season but he seems to lack composure in front of goal when it counts, against the stronger teams. If he can add finishing to his game he could be one of the players of the 19/20 Championship.
This is what the Leeds fans are saying about Harrison:
Cooper, Forshaw and Bamford deserve no more than 5/10, agree with the rest. Harrison looks dangerous but snatched at a few good chances. Kiko alot more composed and had no chance with any of the goals.

also what’s not changed is, kiko’s distribution is still poor, bamford still looks lazy and can’t finish, harrison can not shoot still, and we create changes but can’t but our chances away #lufc

harrison blasting over the bar that high is unforgivable. shows total lack of composure. #lufc

Like last season – creating chances but not putting them away. We need a natural finisher.

Harrison is a nutshell, he really does need to work on his finishing #lufc
