Leeds fans react to Bielsa photo
Marcelo Bielsa might be wowing everyone on the pitch at the moment – Leeds are top of the league and playing some thrilling football – but off the pitch he’s a man of the people.
He’s regularly spotted walking to Thorp Arch and now there’s a photo on the internet of him shopping in Morrisons in his Leeds training kit.
One Leeds fan posted the photo on Twitter and said, “I didn’t take this photo…. but Bielsa in Morrisons. You love to see it.”
“Man photographed doing shopping”, some people might say.
But part of Bielsa’s attraction on Leeds is that he’s when he’s not working he’s an ordinary person, with no airs or graces.
He has made the Leeds players pick up litter to try to keep them humble and that wasn’t just done to make the headlines. He knows footballers and managers get paid a huge amount of money but he also believes it’s important to stay grounded. It’s the way he lives his life.
We’re waiting for Frank Lampard to come out and say, “I do shopping in my training kit, too”.
Plenty of Leeds fans reacted on Twitter and love him just that little bit more after this photo.
Best thing about our legend is that he is just an ordinary guy on the outside and we love him for it all the more.

The fact he wears the training kit is the most Bielsea thing ever

What a guy. He's so normal underneath his sheer brilliance. It's why we love him so much. Can you imagine Frank and Christine pushing a trolley round a supermarket ?
Just love MB and everything he does 👍

He’s giving the press a power point presentation this afternoon to tell them where Tesco and Asda are going wrong. Basically they’ve got all the different foods in the wrong positions in their shops?
