Jamie O'Hara takes aim at VAR in senseless rant during Leeds v Spurs
Harry Kane had a goal ruled out for offside via VAR against Leeds United and Jamie O’Hara completely lost his head in response to the decision.
The talkSPORT pundit is prone to speaking out of line, as only last week he questioned why Gareth Southgate plays Kalvin Phillips for England [talkSPORT Breakfast April 29].
And he showed his bitterness once again with a Twitter rant after Kane had a first-half goal cancelled out by VAR.
He’s onside this is getting a joke, give the attackers the benefit of doubt we are ruining the game, I hate it so much #var #spurs

O’Hara wrote, “He’s onside this is getting a joke, give the attackers the benefit of doubt, we are ruining the game, I hate it so much #var #spurs.”
In the pundit’s defence, Kane was beyond the defender by the slightest of margins, but we have come to expect that this season.
Patrick Bamford had a goal chalked off against Cyrstal Palace this season for an even more ridiculous decision – his shoulder was offisde because he was pointing to where he wanted the ball to be played.

O’Hara should have taken the decision on the chin and not showed his bias so flagrantly.
If Tottenham had anything about them they would have brushed off the incident and come back stronger, but they didn’t.
Instead, it was Leeds who dominated the majority of the match and in fact, could have come away with four or five goals.
O’Hara should have conceded that we were by far the better team but he could not find it in himself to complement our play or the job done by Marcelo Bielsa.
The fact we beat Spurs so convincingly without England star Phillips is rather hilarious.
This result and our recent form show we are on the rise and the squad has progressed significantly during the season.
It would not be greatly surprising if we finished above the likes of Tottenham next season, and with the right recruitment qualifying for Europe is a very realistic goal.
