Cibicki joins Den Haag on loan

Leeds striker Pawel Cibicki has joined Dutch side ADO Den Haag on loan for the rest of the season.

The Eredivisie side are one off the bottom of the league after three games, having conceded nine goals.

It will likely mark the end of Cibicki’s ill-fated career at Leeds as the 25-year-old is out of contract next summer.

The news was announced on the official Leeds site on Wednesday afternoon.

Cibicki will be a player who’ll be filed in Victor Orta’s failures. He was signed in the summer of 2017 for £1.5m from Malmo but it became apparent pretty quickly that he wasn’t up to the Championship.

He made 100 appearances but didn’t score a goal for Leeds and has spent two loan stints away with Molde and Elfsborg.
