The list of strikers that Leeds United have been linked with so far this summer is so long that it would probably stretch from one end of the pitch at Elland Road to the other.
The two latest names to be thrown into the mixer are those of Liverpool duo Divock Origi and Rhian Brewster.
According to the Mirror, Marcelo Bielsa’s men are eager to bolster their attacking options, and see a permanent move for the Belgian – plus a loan swoop for the Anfield starlet – as one way of achieving their aims in the coming weeks.
And Leeds fans seem particularly keen on the prospect of snapping up Origi.
The 25-year-old has struggled for regular game time on Merseyside in recent seasons, but has enamoured himself to fans enormously with a couple of hugely important goals in the 2018/19 Champions League winning run.
And on paper, you would have to say that he looks like a good option in terms of both cover and competition for Patrick Bamford.
The Belgian scored more goals per 90 minutes than the Leeds striker last season despite having an xG that was exactly half as much, as per Wyscout.
He also had a higher shot accuracy rate, made more dribbles, and completed more passes.
In short, Origi looks as if he would be a definite upgrade on what we currently have at Elland Road.
His experience at the highest level of English and continental football would be a real asset, and provided the price isn’t extortionate, we think this could be a fantastic deal for the Whites.
Here are some of the best tweets from Leeds United fans:
If given the choice between Rodrigo, Batshuayi, Edouard or Origi I would honestly have no preference. I think any of those leading the line would be unbelievable. #lufc #mot @LUFC

Origi would be a great signing. Couldn’t care less about Brewster but might be okay. #lufc https://t.co/csMBsmi1lx
