Andrea Radrizzani as exit strategy ready as 49ers takeover at Leeds United continues - Finance Expert
We’re delighted to welcome football finance expert Dr Daniel Plumley as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the biggest talking points at Leeds United...
Dan Plumley has insisted that Andrea Radrizzani likely already has his exit strategy lined up for life after Leeds United after documents emerged.
It was shared on Companies House on February 17 that the Italian had been confirmed as a Director of DAZN, as the 49ers’ takeover at Elland Road nears in the summer.
The Finance Expert admitted that all businessmen have objectives in mind with their extended plans, with Radrizzani clearly making his move early here.
“It looks likely, doesn’t it,” he exclusively told MOT Leeds News.
“We talk about these types of businessmen that have their objectives firmly in mind, and their all working on three-to-five-year plans.

“They all have their exit strategies, they know when it’s a good time to get out of the business they’ve invested in and you can see that here with the joining up of the 49ers takeover all the way through, and his approach to running Leeds United and his interest elsewhere.
“So, it stands to reason that if the deal is to go through and he is to step down from Leeds United, then that looks likely to be his next probable move.”
Memories.
Although there have been recent complaints, Radrizzani’s time will be looked back on fondly, overall.
Taking over from Massimo Cellino and taking Leeds to the Premier League was a huge achievement, as the club was simply a mess, but now is the right time to hand over to the 49ers.
Now, it will be down to them to kick on to the next level should they sign off on this one – there are many expecting fans in West Yorkshire desperate for that to happen.
Bring it on.
In other Leeds United news, the club may now face a losing battle to keep their star player at Elland Road beyond the summer transfer window.
